When we step in
The situations that trigger an engagement
If you recognise your company in one of these situations, a thirty-minute conversation will be enough to know whether an engagement is justified.
- Bank debt or refinancing to be prepared
- An acquisition being considered
- An investor coming into the capital
- A property project whose financing plan still needs to be completed
- A holding structure that needs rationalising
Our approach
How we approach this subject
Lenders do not reject projects: they reject uncertainty. A financial model with unsourced assumptions, underestimated working capital requirements or a cash flow plan that stops at twelve months is enough to sink a good file.
So we build a complete model, with income statement, balance sheet and cash flows linked together, stress-tested on the three variables that really matter. The model is handed over in an open format: you must be able to defend it without us.
Legal and capital structuring is worked on with your advisers (notary, lawyer, accounting firm). We do not practise law or audit accounts; we ensure the financial consistency of the whole and prepare the documents.
Finally, we prepare the pitch: presentation documents, anticipation of difficult questions, and a rehearsal with the business leader. This last step is the one companies neglect most, and the one that changes the outcome most.
